Director's Message

Welcome to the Police Aerial Systems & Technology Centre (PASTEC), Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to PASTEC, a pioneering initiative of Madhya Pradesh Police dedicated to drone technology, innovation, and it’s professional use in law enforcement. Established with the vision of creating a world-class training and research ecosystem, PASTEC aims to empower police personnel and security professionals with the knowledge, skills, and operational capabilities required to meet the challenges of modern policing.

The rapid advancement of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) has revolutionized policing and public safety. Drones have become indispensable tools for surveillance, crime scene documentation, disaster management, search and rescue, traffic monitoring, intelligence gathering, infrastructure inspection, and emergency response. Recognizing the transformative potential of these technologies, PASTEC has developed a comprehensive training framework that combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practical exposure.

The Centre offers structured training programmes supported by advanced flight simulators, modern drone laboratories, dedicated flying facilities, and experienced instructors. The curriculum encompasses drone operations, aviation safety, mission planning, maintenance, aerial mapping, photogrammetry, drone forensics, and counter-drone technologies, ensuring that participants get fully prepared for real-world operational requirements.

Beyond training, PASTEC serves as a hub for research, innovation, and technological development. We actively encourage collaboration with government agencies, academic institutions, industry partners, and technology organizations to promote indigenous solutions and strengthen the use of emerging technologies in policing and public safety. Our commitment to innovation reflects the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and the continuous modernization of police forces.

Our mission is to establish PASTEC as a nationally recognized Centre of Excellence for drone education, research, and operational support. By fostering professionalism, innovation, and ethical use of technology, we aspire to build a highly skilled workforce capable of supporting police organizations, disaster response teams, and other government institutions across India.

I invite you to explore our programmes, research initiatives, and technological capabilities through this portal. Together, let us harness the power of advanced aerial systems to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen public safety, and contribute towards a secure, resilient, and technologically empowered India.
